Get out, get moving, and get your dog socialized! We will start with a quick round of recalls and then some puppy and basic obedience. Need some help with a bad behavior, getting focus, timid dog, or other issue? Let us know!
Please bring your training equipment and food or toy reward. Water is available, along with items to help you clean up after your dog.
We ask that you keep dog's nails short so as not to damage the new gym floor. A dremel and nail clipper will be available for use.
$10 donation per dog

Please keep all dogs off equipment unless supervised.
Keep ALL children off equipment at all times.
If anyone is in need of special training or behavior issues, please call, I will be happy to set up a small training session - group class.
New dogs are welcome to join the group classes after at least one private class has been completed. All vaccinations and bordetella are required.
Starting Pups early can omit bad behavior later.
Puppies as early as 9 weeks old may begin basic obedience with socialization, agility, recalls, focusing toward competition later or just a great stable well-mannered family pets.
Personal Protection and Schutzhund
AGILITY
Agility teaches control, balance, courage, and confidence. We encourage all our clients and dogs to enjoy our agility course even if not in competition.
OBEDIENCE
Weather you want a dog for Schutzhund competition, AKC obediece, 4-H, or just a family pet. Everyone loves a dog that is respectful and well controled. This training is a must to have a dog that is a pleasure to be around.
4-H Classes
As a 14 yr. 4-H leader and an 18 yr. veteran 4-H dog trainer, Tatum Kennels has watched our kids with placings of Grand Champion, Overall High Combined Scoring Dog, Division Champions, Showmanship Champions, Brace Team CH. and top 10 placings at State Fair with scores of perfect 200+. Congratulations to all those 4-H ers. It takes commitment and hard work. Every year since 1989 Tatum Kennels has had a winner!

Children training Dogs
Families with children and dogs must be able to live together and understand the importance of dog care. We encourage children to start young and be a part of the training program. With parental supervision, we teach children about training, grooming, nutrition, responsibility, and safety. Tatum Kennels also has Childrens Educational programs for Elementary Schools and Scouting.
EVALUATION AND BEHAVIOR CORRECTION
Bad Behavior can be caused by environment, breeding, the wrong breed, fear biting, not training early on, lack of socialization...... whatever the cause it cannot be tolerated! These behavior issues can be addressed and corrected.
PUPPY BOOT CAMP!
This program is geared toward the long distance dog owner, or the local owner without the time. This week long in-house training program gets the basics done! All basic commands on leash and most off-leash work is taught to the dog in a very strict 1-2 week training program. Age of dog must be at least 6 months old and evaluated prior to beginning.
SEARCH AND RESCUE
Start training now and get in shape! Training at Camp Atterbury will begin in April for SAR. This is hosted by Homeland Security. Anyone interested contact Lori.
